• Report any suspicious activity, security breaches or incidents promptly and accurately.
• Uphold the “do no harm” principle: respect confidentiality, treat all women and girls with empathy, and avoid judgment.

3. Desired Impact to Keep in Mind
• Create a safe, secure environment for women and girls seeking GBV services.
• Offer a welcoming atmosphere at the entrance, showing respect regardless of background.
• Facilitate easy access for persons with disabilities, language barriers or other specific needs.

4. Qualification Checklist
• Class VIII (Eight) grade certificate.
• Minimum one year of experience in a similar guard or cleaning role.

• Updated CV highlighting relevant security, surveillance and cleaning experience.
• Copy of Class VIII certificate and any other educational records.
• Reference letters from previous employers, especially those in security or humanitarian settings.

• Conclude with a statement of availability and willingness to relocate to any of the listed districts.

8. Application Submission

• Practice answering scenario‑based questions such as:

– How would you handle a visitor who appears agitated and refuses to sign the log?
– What steps would you take if you notice a broken lock on an access door?
– Describe how you would support a GBV survivor arriving at night.

• Be ready to discuss your experience with people from diverse backgrounds, especially women and girls in vulnerable situations.

10. Post‑Interview Follow‑Up
• Send a thank‑you email within 24 hours, reiterating your enthusiasm for the role and your alignment with ActionAid’s values.

11. On‑Boarding Awareness
• If selected, you will sign a contract valid until 31 December 2026, renewable based on funding and performance.
• Salary: BDT 13,861 per month plus mobile & internet allowance and group life insurance.
• Expect induction on safeguarding policies, confidentiality, and the organization’s code of conduct.

12. Final Reminders
• Do not pay any fee or provide money to secure the job; any request for payment is fraudulent.
• All communication should be professional; avoid personal persuasion or phone calls to the recruitment office.
• Keep copies of all submitted documents for your records.

Good luck with your preparation and application!
