• If your degree is older than five years, be ready to discuss any refresher courses, certifications or on‑the‑job training you have undertaken.

3. EXPERIENCE PROFILE
• Minimum two years of relevant experience in:
– FMCG manufacturing,
– Packaged food or beverage production,
– Large diversified group companies.
• Prepare a short narrative (3–4 minutes) that highlights:
– Specific QC projects you led or supported,
– Types of analytical methods you used (e.g., HPLC, GC, spectrophotometry, microbiological plating),
– How you ensured compliance with SOPs and regulatory standards,
– Instances where you identified a quality drift and applied corrective actions.

4. KEY SKILLS TO DEMONSTRATE
• Analytical ability – give concrete examples of data interpretation and decision‑making.
• Data analysis – be comfortable discussing software tools (Excel, Minitab, Statgraphics) and statistical techniques (ANOVA, control charts, capability analysis).
• Monitoring – describe routine QC monitoring routines you have performed.
• Quality control audit/inspection – explain any internal audit participation or external audit preparation you have done.
• Communication – illustrate how you report findings to production, R&D and management.

5. KNOWLEDGE AREAS TO RECAP
• SOP development and adherence – review a generic SOP template and be ready to explain how you would verify compliance.
• GMP and HACCP principles – refresh on the seven HACCP principles and how they are applied in a food processing environment.
• Cleaning agents – study common food‑grade sanitizers, their concentration calculations, contact times and safety data sheets.
• Instrument calibration – recall the steps for calibration of pH meters, balances, spectrophotometers and any specialised equipment you have used.
• Pest‑control monitoring – understand typical monitoring logs, threshold levels, and corrective measures.

6. PRE‑INTERVIEW DOCUMENTS
• Updated CV (include a concise “Key Achievements” section tailored to QC).
• Certified copies of academic transcripts and degree certificates.
• Copies of any relevant certifications (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000, Good Laboratory Practice).
• Professional references (at least two) from supervisors who can speak to your QC experience.
• A short cover letter addressing: why you are interested in ACI, how your background fits the role, and your commitment to food safety.

7. PRACTICE COMMON QUESTIONS
– “Describe a time when a batch failed quality specifications. What steps did you take?”
– “How do you ensure the accuracy of a reagent preparation before analysis?”
– “What statistical tools have you used to monitor process performance?”
– “Explain your approach to calibrating a new instrument.”
– “How would you handle a pest‑control breach in the production area?”
– “What steps would you take during an emergency response drill?”

Prepare STAR‑format answers (Situation, Task, Action, Result) and rehearse them aloud.

8. SIMULATE TECHNICAL TESTS
• Some companies include a written or practical test.
• Practice:
– Calculating reagent concentrations and dilution factors.
– Interpreting a mock analytical report and deciding on product release.
– Creating a simple control chart from supplied data.

9. LOGISTICS & PERSONAL PREPARATION
• Confirm the interview location (Sirajganj) and travel time; plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early.
• Dress in professional business attire (no casual wear).
• Bring a portfolio with printed copies of your CV, certificates, reference letters and a notebook for notes.

10. POST‑INTERVIEW FOLLOW‑UP
– Send a thank‑you email within 24 hours, reiterating your enthusiasm for the QC Officer role and summarising one or two key points you discussed.

By systematically covering the items above you will demonstrate that you possess the technical competence, analytical mindset and quality‑focused attitude that Advanced Chemical Industries PLC expects from its QC team members. Good luck!
